The Model Room Visitor Book
The lectern register beside the 11F city model. One entry was photographed in 1987 and again in 1989. Only the second photograph has it.

The book
The Integrated Living Systems suite on 11F kept a visitor book on a lectern beside the city model. Visitors signed with their employee number, the date, their name and a comment. Most comments are what you would expect: A splendid model. Most impressive.
The rows that matter
| No. | Date | Name | Comment |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4415 | 12 Aug 1986 | S. Ishida | My wife says the house is smaller than the model. |
| 4416 | 13 Aug 1986 | ||
| 4417 | 14 Aug 1986 | K. Watanabe | The house was lit. Why is my house lit? |
| 4418 | 15 Aug 1986 |
The problem
I have two photographs of this page.

The first is dated on the back March 1987. In it, the 4417 row is empty.
The second is dated 1989. In it, the 4417 row is filled in, in a hand that shakes badly, pressed hard enough to dent the following page.
Nobody had a reason to sign a visitor book in 1989 for a visit in 1986.
Every row is in its visitor’s own handwriting, number and date included. Except 4418. That one is in a clerk’s neat print. Somebody dated it in advance.
